Azores’ Photolithography Systems Qualified by LG Display for Flat Panel Display Development

June 2, 2009 - WILMINGTON, MA - Azores Corp, a leading manufacturer of advanced photolithography steppers for mobile display and x-ray sensor applications, has completed LG Display Co. Ltd.’s stringent qualification process to supply “step and repeat” photolithography steppers as a key manufacturing technology in LG Display’s flat panel display development. Multiple Azores PanelPrinter™ photolithography steppers have already been installed at one of LG Display’s fabrication facilities in Korea.

LG Display is a leading manufacturer and innovator of thin-film transistor liquid crystal display (TFT-LCD), organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs), and flexible display technology for use in TVs, monitors, notebook PCs, mobile products, and other applications. LG Display’s innovative technology produces higher quality and more energy-efficient displays.

Azores’ PanelPrinter photolithography steppers were qualified due to their unrivaled flexibility, easy product layout, and rapid changeover to develop displays of varying sizes on both rigid and flexible substrates.
